What a few months it has been to kick off 2018.

In January I travelled up to the Cuillin Brewery on Skye to spend a week brewing up there. It was a fantastic opportunity to gain some much needed experience and to see the set-up they had.

We have taken on Lockerbie local Bud Little as our builder and he is pulling in local tradesman to convert the building into our brewery. We are getting a new three phase electric supply, new roof, windows, door, floors, ceilings and special boarding on the walls to make the building like a giant wet room.

We have ordered the equipment from Hoplex, based in Aberdeen, and they will be installing our 5BBL brewing system in June. We are going to have the capacity to make 800L of beer every brew.

We also had a second beer tasting event in Lockerbie at the end of March which went down very well. We had around 70 people come and try our test batches and they enjoyed the night.

We have now sold almost 40 shares and getting more interest all the time. We are selling a maximum of 120 shares which equates to 20% of the equity.

I have been working hard on our Dryfe Ale recipe to try to perfect it for launch.
